🚣 QZ rower test

Standalone test page · reads the rower data that QZ re-broadcasts over Bluetooth (FTMS)

1 · Prepare QZ

  1. On the Android phone, open QZ and wait until it shows live data from the rower.
  2. Disconnect every other app that is paired to QZ (MyWhoosh, Zwift…): a Bluetooth peripheral usually accepts only one connection at a time.
  3. Use another device for this page (your PC with Chrome/Edge, or a second Android phone). A phone normally cannot connect to the Bluetooth signal it is broadcasting itself.
  4. Start rowing (the rower sends data only while you row) and press Connect below.

QZ appears as a Bluetooth device whose name usually starts with "QZ" or with your machine's name. If you cannot see it, tick "Show all devices".

Technical log

If something does not work, press "Copy log" and paste it in the chat: it shows which services QZ exposes and the raw bytes it sends.
